I wonder if the next owner will cut down the oak tree by the terrace for a better view of the sea? During the 20 years that we’ve lived here it has gown quite large and so has the paul farges clematis growing in it. I love it but it does take some of the view away…

Today I finally had the opportunity to visit @etthemstockholm. Gorgeous place 😍 And gorgeous garden - shows that you don’t need a lot of flowers to create a great garden! Thank you @nordstone_europe for a lovely lunch and inspiring discussions 😀🙏🏻

Exotic greenery for nordic climate - giant Hosta Bressingham Blue 💚

I want my show garden to be the real thing so everything is made to last including both paving and planting. This time we had the privilege to try a new peat free soil from @thecarbonlabs. It was great! You can’t guess it’s made of bark, the texture is so great and it kept the soil moist all through the show. The soil is called ’trädgårdsjord Extra - torvfri med biokol’ and you can buy it through @swerockab. Under the paving we used stenmjöl 0-8 from @stenbolaget. I prefer permeable paving (no concrete) - the most sustainable choice 👌🏻

Plants are beings that not always behave the way you want 😅 When doing a show garden that’s a challenge and this year our statement plant iris Caldron refused to bloom 😱 Luckily @splendorplant came to our rescue and we could replace them with aquilegia Ruby Port in the same color 😀 Thank you sooo much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sista dagen på Malmö Garden show och efter dagens slut kan ni lägga vantarna på några av alla vackra växter vi har i trädgården! Här finns japanska lönnar, idegransklot, hosta, iris och massor av fina marktäckare som tretandsfingerört och cotula. Växterna sälj av vår grymma sponsor @instantgarden.se Ni bokar er för växterna på deras site och kommer och hämtar på Malmöhusvägen efter kl 16 idag. Hoppas att vi ses!

Byggdag nr två med hela teamet på 10 personer på plats - då går det undan! Finfina, men tunga(!), cortenskärmar från @staltradgarden har kommit på plats och återbrukad marksten. Imorgon ska 1000 växter planteras och allt detaljer knytas ihop 😀

Narcissus season 😍 So many different forms and colors, so robust and the fragrance is to die for! Even the filled and rare varieties neutralizes perfectly and come back year after year. And deer won’t touch them! Super plant 👌🏻

This new build is a modern take on the traditional red barn. The garden simply enhances the existing landscape, with a piece of forest brought into the secluded atrium. I love it 😀💚

Just putting the final touches on the design for this incredible estate. Six hectares of land to transform into a park — today, most of it is simply lawn!

You might expect a traditional formal garden here: straight lines, low hedges, and classic bedding schemes. But that’s not what the client envisioned. Instead, we’ve shaped the landscape into something more organic — flowing, rounded forms that gently guide you through the space and invite exploration.

The sense of formality is still present, though. Tightly clipped hedge sculptures pick up the ornaments of the main building, while domed evergreens echo through the landscape, tying everything together.

With 80,000 plants and 300 trees, this vision is about to come to life. Planting begins in May — stay tuned 😀👍🏻
