Discount and easy maintenance - do they go together?

When talking about gardening, many people think of flowering and often labor-intensive flower beds. Just like in nature, I want to mix trees, shrubs and ground covers with perennials, and preferably native plants. Viable plants that cover the ground well reduce the need for both weeding and watering. This makes the plantings easy to maintain, natural and lush for a long time. The stem should be leafy with a variety of color and shape, the flowers are what pop. There should always be something to look forward to in the garden - preferably all year round!
