Att skapa trädgårdsmagi

Every garden has something unique, a natural backbone for the landscape architecture to build on. It could be the forest like in my garden, a gnarled old apple tree, or a magnificent rhododendron. Perhaps what you see as a problem is the unique one - a "hopeless" slope or gassing southern sun. Sometimes you get to create it - perhaps a pergola completely hidden by a forest clematis or a meandering path of stepping stones in a ground cover. The uniqueness sets the tone for the entire garden design and when you succeed in reinforcing and building on it, real garden magic is created.
